The original and best – from Timberland
This is the boot that started it all, the classic 6-inch boot from Timberland. This design has been around for nearly four decades, keeping up to date with subtle improvements over the years, yet still retaining that timeless quality which all good designs have. This latest version is constructed in wheat-coloured nubuck leather, with a brown full-grain leather padded ankle panel and seven-eyelet lace-up fastening featuring two-tone laces. The sole is durable rubber with chunky treads; the whole is made with a seam-sealed waterproof construction to keep out the elements. Other features include rust-proof hardware and shock-absorbing insoles for maximum comfort. It looks great too, with multiple rows of stitching at the seams, gold coloured metal eyelets and subtle embossed Timberland logo on the side. Team it up with jeans, a long sleeve shirt and winter gilet for a stylish, rugged look.
Timberland – innovative footwear since 1965
The Swartz family developed the first ever injection moulded shoes in 1965,creating the first ever fully waterproof shoe as there was no longer need for the upper to be stitched to the sole. They stormed the footwear market with their first ever Timberland boot in 1973. With their continued success, the Swartz family finally transformed the Abington Shoe Company into the Timberland Company in 1978. Since then, Timberland continued to alter the footwear industry, always appearing to bring a touch of something special to their products, customers and employees. The Timberland brand is entirely dedicated to improving the environment, always looking for new initiatives that will reduce their environmental footprint.
